Despite coming through WrestleMania 40 unscathed, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is now battling an elbow injury sustained during filming.

Following his WrestleMania appearance, Johnson began filming “The Smashing Machine,” a biopic about MMA legend Mark Kerr. Johnson posted an Instagram post on Tuesday revealing he injured himself during filming today. Johnson showed off his swollen elbow and said it looked like he had a melon in the lower part of his arm. He will have to wait for the fluid to go away before getting an MRI.

“As you know, I’m doing a movie called ‘The Smashing Machine.’ And when a movie is called ‘The Smashing Machine,’ you’re going to get smashed up,” Johnson said. “Look at that thing. It looks like I’ve got a melon in the bottom of my elbow. I got hurt pretty badly in our scenes today. And then there might be some soft tissue damage. That’s a lot of fluid. We’ll see. I’ll have to get that out before I do any MRIs.”

Johnson said everything was fine and joked that he was already feeling better after drinking some of his Teremana tequila.

WrestleMania 40 was Johnson’s first real pro wrestling match in over a decade. On the first night of the event, he defeated Cody Rhodes in a tag team match. The next night, Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. A match between Rhodes and Johnson is scheduled to take place later.

TKO Group Holdings, WWE’s parent company, announced in January that Johnson had joined its board of directors.
