Savannah Chrisley says it was – literally – love at first sight for her boyfriend Robert Shiver.

In Tuesday’s episode of her Unlocked In a podcast, the 26-year-old television personality described how she met her boyfriend in person for the first time. She said they were both at a Morgan Wallen concert in Boston and their hotel rooms happened to be next to each other.

“All kinds of weird things were happening, and we thought, ‘Okay, this is how it has to be,'” she recalls. “But I’ll never forget how, after I got ready, I went up to his house and knocked on his door. I was wearing this cute denim dress with a belt to make my waist look smaller.”

She continued: “I remember walking in and looking out the window, you know, but I had to tiptoe a little bit to make my legs look good.”

The Chrisley knows best Alum said that while she was trying to impress the former football player, he had already fallen in love with her. When they talked about when they could see each other next, Chrisley said their schedules didn’t match up, so Shiver came up with a solution.

“After we talked for 10 minutes, because I had to go to LA for work and he had to go to LA for personal stuff, but he was flying a week before me, he said, ‘Oh no. I’m going to change my trip. I’m just going to be there the same week as you,'” she laughed. “And I said, ‘We only met 10 minutes ago and you’re already changing your trip?'”

The two got to know each other better that night and before she knew it, according to Chrisley, Shiver revealed something she wasn’t expecting to hear.

“I don’t think I’ve ever told this before,” she began. “So the first night, we were at the concert, everyone was drinking, everyone was having fun. And that night he said, ‘I think I love you.’ Literally that night. The night we met in person.”

The reality star said she didn’t know how to react and the first thing that came out of her mouth was, “Shut up.”

“I literally said, ‘Shut up,'” she recalls. “So we said, ‘All right, when we get married, his wedding drink will be ‘I think I love you’ and mine will be ‘Shut up.'”

Chrisley also talked about how she and Shiver communicate and what their secret is to the stability of their relationship. She said it’s important that they fully accept each other, including their flaws.

“We were having a conversation earlier and I was like, ‘Just don’t ever tell me when I do something you don’t like,'” she explained. “He was like, ‘But baby, even when you do something I might not like, or you might do things I don’t like,’ he was like, ‘That’s what makes you who you are, and it also adds to all the other things I love about you.'”

Chrisley and Shiver were first linked in September 2023 before going public with a sweet Instagram post in November. Although some They reacted negatively because they wanted to start a new relationship even though they felt she was still grieving over the death of her ex-fiancé Nic Kerdiles, but the podcast host rejected them.

“I just wanted to check in and clear up some misunderstandings. I posted these photos last night and of course there are a lot of positive comments, but there are also a lot of comments about Nic and I,” she said in a video. “I just want to say that Nic and I have been separated for a long time. We got engaged, called off the engagement, tried to date, tried to stay in each other’s lives and it just didn’t work out. We loved each other more than anything in the world, but it just didn’t work out.”

Chrisley added, “In January (2023), we finally stopped talking overnight. So Nic and I weren’t together. We hadn’t been together in… maybe two years?”
