Saline Area Social Service (SASS) is proud to host the third annual Saline Food Truck Festival. This fundraiser will be held on Saturday, June 15th from 11am-3pm on the Washtenaw Farm Council property. Proceeds from this event support the mission of Saline Area Social Service and help local families in need.

No tickets are required for this event, however a donation of $1.00 per person is requested to help defray the cost of the event. The donation is not required for admission.

The event will feature over twenty food trucks, a bouncy castle, touch-a-truck, field events, a pop-up market, the Reinhart Putt-Putt Challenge and much more. For more information on the Saline Food Truck Festival, click here HERE.

There will also be a Public Service Fitness Challenge, where participants will complete a series of dynamic workouts, team challenges and obstacle courses designed to test their physical and mental strength. Participants will also learn about career opportunities with the various branches of the U.S. military and public service organizations that will be on site. These include the United States Marines, University of Michigan Air Force ROTC, United States Navy, University of Michigan Army ROTC, University of Michigan Naval Reserve, United States Army and Huron Valley Ambulance. Join us for an entertaining afternoon and support a good cause at the same time.

Outside of fundraising events, SASS is a year-round food distribution and relief organization serving the residents and students of the Saline Area School District, which includes a portion of the surrounding communities. Thanks to immense community support, SASS provides weekly food assistance, assists with emergencies such as evictions, utility shutoffs and auto repairs, and connects those in need to other relief organizations.
