Colorado is celebrating Pride across the state this month. LGBTQIA+ Pride Month has begun after the Stonewall riots in New York on June 28, 1969. Five years later, in 1974, the roots of Denver’s Pride go back to a picnic following the repeal of anti-LGBTQIA+ ordinances in Denver.
