Carly Pearce celebrated humming-bird Release week with a performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

In a shiny gold dress, Carly took the stage of the late-night show on Monday to perform “Truck burning”, a fast and cheeky revenge anthem from their new album, which was released on Friday.

“The birds were talking across the wire/ And spilling your secrets all over town/ You and her, back road, were up all night/ Did you really think I wouldn’t find out?/ Oh, so I found a little gas in a little red can/ Oh, one last match flew out of my hand/ Liar, liar, truck’s on fire/ Flames are blazing from your Goodyear tires/ Burn, burn, you’ll learn/ You never should’ve touched her with your lips/ Put your lips on her,” Carly explains in the chorus.

Carly says about her 14-song album: “humming-bird is a deeply personal journey full of heart, soul and a good dose of humor. During the process of creating this album, I restructured my view of love and myself. By dealing with heartbreak, falling in love again and gaining self-confidence, I learned to accept every part of my story.”
