According to a report from Blair Angulo of 247Sports, the Auburn Tigers will host one of the country’s most promising 2026 quarterback prospects this weekend.

Helaman Casuga is a 6’1″, 200-pound signal caller from Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah. He is ranked the fourth-best quarterback in the country by ESPN and sixth-best by Rivals.

“The four-star Draper Hotel (Utah) Corner Canyon is located at Clemson and will do so with unofficial visits to Auburn (9 June) and Alabama (June 10) as he continues to showcase his skills for college coaches,” Angulo wrote on 247Sports.

Greg Biggins is a California-based national recruiting analyst for 247Sports who has seen a lot of Casuga. He is a big fan of the Utah quarterback.

“Natural shooter, mechanically strong and quick tosser,” Biggins wrote of Casuga. “Can throw the ball down the field on a rope and is very good at extending plays and making a difference when the pocket breaks down. At 6’1″ and 200 pounds, size may be an issue for some, but Casuga throws well enough and has the athleticism to make up for it and will play at the high Power 4 level.”

Not that they aren’t interested in signing a quarterback this recruiting cycle, but it makes sense to sign the best quarterbacks. Auburn signed Walker White out of Little Rock, Arkansas, this year, and he was considered the fifth-best quarterback prospect in the nation by 247Sports last cycle.

Recruiting analyst Brian Smith believes White can be an impact player for the Tigers.

“If White went to an Atlanta Falcons practice and wore a helmet while running onto the field, no one would question whether he physically belongs on the field,” Smith wrote on Auburn Daily. “The arm strength is obvious to anyone who watches him throw balls during an Auburn practice. White also has good mobility and makes good throws on the run. He also makes a big run on occasion.”

With a year between White and Casuga, a 2026 quarterback, Auburn can fill the game’s most important position.
