The Panthers will face the Oilers for the Stanley Cup; the best-of-seven series begins on Saturday, June 8.

Florida will be hoping for a better result after losing to the Golden Knights in five games in last year’s Stanley Cup Final. After a 110-point regular season, the Panthers look well-positioned and dangerous.

Florida swept the Lightning, Bruins and Rangers to close out the Eastern Conference, with the Panthers showing they are championship-ready, especially against New York. Two consecutive overtime wins gave the Rangers a 2-1 series lead, but the Panthers held on and reeled off three straight wins to close out the series.

The Oilers ousted the Kings, Canucks and Stars to escape the dangerous Western Conference. Edmonton had its back against the wall against Vancouver, trailing 3-2 at one point in the series. But the Oilers saved their best hockey for Games 6 and 7, paving the way for the franchise’s first appearance in the Stanley Cup Final since 2006.

Edmonton boasts the four highest-scoring players in the NHL this postseason: Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Evan Bouchard and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s Stanley Cup Final, including a full schedule of the series.
